Founder

They are a creator, storyteller, builder, writer, survivor leader, educator, facilitator, and space holder. They live with AuDHD, C-PTSD, chronic pain, and other chronic illnesses and are grateful for the support and love of their medical alert service dog MARLIN. Phoenix is a fierce mental health and anti-oppression advocate who focuses on topics spanning reproductive health, disrupting rape culture, healing & trauma, disability justice, identity, and dismantling oppressive systems – all thru an intersectional and trauma-informed lens. Phoenix’s hope is that each of us can go on the journey to decolonize our minds and our spaces so we can truly fight for collective liberation for all of us.

Phoenix shares their stories as well as amplifies others to raise awareness on key issues and believes in the power of  community and sharing stories to create change. They write action-focused articles tying real lived experiences to policies and facilitate various community spaces that create space for tough conversations, education, reflection, radical rest, and community care while empowering folks to think about ways they can translate their learnings into direct action to better support themselves and their community.

Phoenix is dedicated to finding ways to bring folks along in a conversation, creating space for justice and liberation-focused discourse while also applying healing and trauma-informed practices. They wish for a world that is fully accessible for each of us, where bodily autonomy and equitable futures are a given, our relationship with land is repaired, and equitable and quality health care is accessible to all.

They dream of an era of liberation where we no longer live in a constant state of anxiety, fear, rage, and despair and can instead feel secure in living our lives freely, exactly as we wish, and the ability to show up as our whole selves wherever we are.
