“Caring for myself is not self-indulgence. It is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare,” Audre Lorde
Caring for ourselves is critical for our survival. Caring for each other is critical for our collective liberation.
Resource Mapping is a way to identify services, programs, people, and other resources and reference guides that can help educate, support, care for, and drive action and engagement for individuals and communities. We have created a worksheet you can download to map resources in your local communities as well as national resources* for taking care of ourselves.
*Resources with a “*” are national hotlines that are also mandated reporters, meaning they could call the police. This is not a good option for many systems impacted folks.
